Take a big step back from your Blackberry, Treo, or daily planner and look at the big picture. Start at the beginning. What are you really responsible for? What are your particular roles? Employee? Parent? Spouse? Church member? Volunteer? Really identify what you are actually responsible for. Life is always in flux and over time your roles will change. Are you still micromanaging your now-grown children? Are you still volunteering even though you now have grandchildren with whom you’d rather be spending your time? You cannot be all things to all people and you can choose which roles will benefit from your time and energy. Really think about this and do not include roles that you are guilted into or feel you need to manage because someone else is not doing their job. One of the saddest things I ever read was an account of a woman who was actually grateful when she was diagnosed with cancer because she was finally able to say no to requests for assistance and she felt having cancer was a legitimate reason to say no. Newsflash: “Because I would rather not” is a perfectly good reason to say no.

Local EXIT Region Reaches Over $7 Million in Generated Residuals

EXIT Agents Benefit from Residuals

North East, MD (Grassroots Newswire) July 23, 2008 -- EXIT Mid-Atlantic has announced that over $7,000,000 in residuals has been generated in the local region and paid out by EXIT Realty Corp. International to EXIT agents who sponsored new recruiters into the company.

EXIT Mid-Atlantic is the EXIT Realty Region of Delaware, DC, and Maryland, operated by owners Rick McDaniel, Carol McDaniel, and Don Kane.

"EXIT Realty offers each associate a residual bonus on sales made by agents they introduce to management," says Kane. "That translates to a win-win for customers as agents are motivated to sell houses quickly."

Agents do not have control over the market, or how many listings they may have at any given time. Yet, they do have control over their process and if they spent less time being consumed by the stories of fear and more time in actions that they do have control over, for example prospecting, they would find themselves in a peaceful state of mind. The results would become positive because their mindset would be on the satisfaction they achieve from their own contributions. You can wait for results, and wait indefinitely or go out and work the process that will subsequently lead to business.
